The Seaplane Pilots Association (SPA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the seaplane community in North America and worldwide. Established in 1971 with a ten-member Board of Directors, SPA's core focus lies in Advocacy. The primary goal of the association is to act as a unified voice for seaplane enthusiasts, representing their interests on federal, state, and local platforms. This encompasses advocating for fair and equitable access for seaplanes to share public waterways with various user groups. Safety, Education, and Environmental Stewardship are also prominent facets of SPA's mission.
